About Loop
Loop is a group health insurance and healthcare provider whose mission is to add 20 healthy years to the Indian workforce, combining insurance, unlimited primary care and data-led prevention. We are covering over 1.4M lives across 1,250+ companies primarily focussed on mid market and enterprise markets. We are backed by Y Combinator, Khosla Ventures, Elevation Capital and General Catalyst. The role
Enterprise HR and finance leaders ask us one question at every renewal: is our benefits spend buying the right things for our people? You will own that answer for our largest clients.
You will lead benefits consulting for Loop's key enterprise accounts. You will diagnose plan design using claims data, benchmark it against peers, and move clients to plans that are sufficient for employees and sustainable for the employer. You will build the team and the playbook that does this at scale.
What you will do
- Lead plan design and renewal strategy for Loop's top enterprise accounts, working directly with CHROs, CFOs and total rewards heads.
- Run claims teardowns off TPA and insurer data to show where employees lose money, where benefits go unused, and where the loss ratio is heading.
- Advise global companies on the right approach to benefits design for distributed audience.
- Advise on M&A, entity and policy consolidation.
- Build and lead a team of benefits analysts. Set the method, the quality bar and the review cadence.
- Work with Sales and Account Management on enterprise pursuits, and with Product and Data on the tools your team uses.
- Bring market signal back into Loop: what competitors are pitching, what insurers are pricing, what HR leaders are asking for.
What we are looking for
- 10 to 15 years in employee benefits or total rewards, with at least 5 years advising enterprise clients (1,000+ employees).
- Background at a benefits consultancy or broker (Mercer, Aon, WTW, Marsh, Gallagher or similar), or leading total rewards at a large enterprise.
- Working command of Indian group insurance: GMC, GPA, GTL, top-ups, OPD, flexible benefits and wellness.
- Insurance depth: Understanding of key treatments, diagnosis and procedures, and what benefit covers it. Prior experience working with Indian insurers and TPAs.
- Great at communication. You know the art of storytelling and what narrative works
- Experimental mindset: You question the traditional model. Think out of the box and lead the change.
